Who Doesn’t Love a Personalized Gift?

My Copy of May 2020 Graphics (1) copy 5Friends I love personalized gifts.  They show that you really thought about the person you were giving the gift too, and that you wanted to choose something you know they will love.  That’s why I just love this week’s local small business of the week, Olivia Grace Paper Company  Olivia Grace is owned by Courtney Gelbrich and is located in Happy Valley, Oregon, and if you’ve seen cute wall sayings and water bottles with your name on them or cool sayings then you will love what she has to offer.

She has the perfect decorations to make that birthday party extra special for  your  littles.  I mean who wouldn’t love some cute mermaid cake bunting, cake toppers and banners?  She’s also got some super cute personalized chore charts that I would have loved to have when my kiddos were littles.  One of my absolutely favorite pieces that she has in her shop has your last name, the name of the state you live in, the word home and then the longitude and latitude of where you live.  I just love this kind of stuff.

So, if you are looking for something to decorate for birthday parties, baby showers, teachers gifts (because they sure do deserve some extra love with all the online teaching they’ve learned to do on the fly), custom note cards and so much more please be sure to check out this great, mom owned small business over on Etsy.

Who’s Ready to Get Their Craft On?

My Copy of January GraphicsYou may have noticed that craft bars/workshops have been popping like crazy.  I think it’s because so many people love to craft but may not have space in their home to dedicate to crafting or they don’t have time to do it regularly.  Craft workshops give people the opportunity to craft and get together with their friends for a fun night out.

AR Workshop Hillsboro recently opened up in Orenco Station.  My colleagues and I noticed it when we went to lunch at Schmizza’s one day and were very excited.  We felt it would be a great place for us to get together outside of the office for some team building.  The girls got together back in December and had a blast.  Unfortunately I was not able to attend due to a college visit for one of my kiddos.  However they had so much fun that we all decided to sign up for their upcoming Girls Night Out event.  I for one am really excited as I will be creating a family established sign.  I have been wanting one for a while now but haven’t found the right one.  Thankfully AR Workshop had one that I loved and I am so excited to get to create it.  If you aren’t interested in a sign like that they have so many different choices and if you are into the chunky knit blankets they’ve got a project that you will love.

So be sure to head over to their website and check out all the great upcoming events on their calendar . AR Workshop Hillsboro is located at 1114 NE Orenco Station Parkway in Hillsboro.
