Home ownership requires tools…but where do you go to find them?

tractor-2077639_1920For the past several years now I keep telling my husband he needs to go buy a new lawn mower, and he keeps saying when this one dies.  Well, the lawn mower still hasn’t died, but the tires did.  You see my husband used the lawn mower so much that he wore the rubber completely off the tires.  So a few weeks ago after mowing the lawn he comes in with one of the wheels and hits up the Googles to look for new wheels.  As he’s doing so he realizes that the lawn more is 21 years old.  After a conversation in which I told him you can replace the wheels but how long is that mower going to last since it’s on it’s last leg, he decided it was time for a new one.  YEAH!!!!!

This is the moment that all the research began.  I figured we would be at least a month or more away from a new lawn mower, however I was surprised to return home from the office to find he’d gone and bought a new lawn mower.  His research lead him to Pape Machinery Agriculture & Turf in Cornelius.  Hearing that name one might think that all they carry is big equipment right?  Well, while they do carry big farm equipment they also carry Honda lawn mowers and Stihl products.  This means that it’s a great place to get equipment to keep your yard looking great.

If you’re in the market for a push lawn mower or riding lawn mower they have many to choose from, and if it’s power equipment they’ve got you covered there too.  From generators, leaf blowers, chain saws, hedge trimmers and more they’ve pretty much have what you need to take care of your yard.  The service we received was fantastic.  They answered all of my husbands questions regarding the lawn mower he had chosen.  It just so happened that they didn’t have one on the show room floor so they put one together for him and let him know it would be ready in the afternoon.  In addition they even took the old lawn mower away for us so we didn’t have to worry about how to get rid of it.  I know it’s easy to just go to Home Depot or Lowes, however I would recommend you take a little bit of time out of your day to see what Pape has to offer.
